One day Trip to RAMESHWARAM 

As my journey started from Chennai Egmore railway station 5:30pm nearly a 11hour travel to Rameshwaram. The train reaches there by 4:45am Sethu Express, by 4:15 the train will be on Pamban Bridge, don't forget to see it. Open the train doors hang on tightly and view the ocean roaring and the smell of the ocean😇 The train will be moving slowly.. not sure what's the reason behind that.

After reaching the Rameshwaram station outside there are autos and buses and vans. But I had other ideas😁 had tea and started to walk with an help of the Google maps at 5am in the morning walking alone in an place I've never been there in MY FIRST SOLO TRIP after 10-15mins walk reached Agni Tirtham (The beach east of Ramanathaswamy Temple is known by this name. This Tirtham is one of the most visited Tirthams of Rameswaram for a holy bath)

Opposite to the temple itself there's an beach .. as it was early morning I wanted to see the Sunrise in there😎 and the sun started to rise the everything started to become bright the view was extra ordinary 😍

Went to take bath in the holy water but our fellow humans polluted it a lot 😑 while walking into the sea under the water there are lot of clothes and lot of wastes are thrown in the water. After this entered the Temple it costs 25 for 22 holy wells .. sure, worth it .. probably it will take about an hour to get wet in all the 22 holy wells .. and I don't know how this happens, the temple is opposite it to the sea but the water doesn't have any sign of salty in the well.

Note : The person who is in charge of pouring the holy water on us are so rude to everyone, they even talk bad words. They respect only for the people who paid for the VIP tickets 😠

Then went for an boat ride near the beach itself costs 60 per head. It worth every penny they take an ride for about 30-40mins. The water is so clear, cause our fellow humans can't get their hands on it.

By now it'll be afternoon get some rest and come back😌 Dr.APJ ABDUL KALAM ancestors home is 500 metres away from the Rameshwaram railway station unfortunately it's under construction.
And Our Ex-Persident down to Earth person KALAM sir house is 1.5km from the station and it is called as HOUSE OF KALAM there we can see lot the things and awards and many inspirational quotes.

On the way I started to feel little bit lonely as this was my first solo trip .. I was using Google maps to return to the station one guy's stopped me asked can I use your map? I said yes. We talked and came to know that he's from Belgium he traveled Solo from there to here 😊 to know about all the Indian Culture. He traveled to many places in India than I did😁 And he gave me an little boost to go forward, for my travel experience every minute we have to enjoy.

Returned back to the station and took the train and returned back to Chennai. An unforgettable experience 😘😘😍

Note : I traveled in very minimal budget .. I didn't took any room .. In afternoon to escape from Sun I stayed in Railway stations waiting hall .. there's an plug point for chargers and separate bathroom and toilet and it was clean too.
               To store the bags I used locker rooms in near the temple it costs only 50.
                The total amount I spent there was 400 only not including train fares.

Aware of : I didn't faced any threats or scams in Rameshwaram the local was friendly they helped on every situations.
   Eg : when you use map in middle there's no network the local itself gave ride on bike to my destination.

Kona falls

Kona Falls (Kailasakona waterfalls) aka Kone Falls its been an one of the best falls around Chennai. Its an nice place to go for trekking, the views we get from their is so natural.

How to get in there?

As we started our journey from our home   respectively, we all friends met in Puzhal, and we started our journey the route we followed was Puzhal - Periyapalayam - Uthukotai -Kona falls.

The route is pretty simple to go, as there are not complex ways. As we all are going for the first time, We actually used Google Maps to get in there ;)

The locals are friendly with us, don't hesitate to ask for the routes.

Travelling to our Journey

As i'm an Chennaite i've been living in an City, When we crossed Periyapalayam the views we got was extra-ordinary that we cant see in cities.

On the way we'd see lot of places try to spend some time in there, Keep sometime for those.

Ah? Yeah! This road looks so fun to drive, from this road it'd take some couple of minutes then we'd reach our destination. "Be cautious there would be little little bumps"

Start Exploring

Near the temple itself there is an falls, the water comes from 20ft above its so chill and tastes good too.  The falls wouldn't be crowded it felt good.

As i didn't took the photo good, tree was blocking the view of an falls, It looks so good in an real view.

If you came with family you can Have fun over there, and you can have some foods there.

If you wanna go for trekking, there'd be an sign board an you can start trekking, we couldn't find the way where to start treeking, and we asked local people, for the way.

BE CAREFUL with some local peoples they ask money from you for trekking, don't give to them. WE have to pay only for getting into the falls, per ticket costs 10 only. Don't ever be scammed by local peoples, lol they were asking money for trekking also!

BE CAREFUL with arrogant monkeys they give lot of troubles to you, only when you've soemthing to eat. lol from us they got cakes and bajji's what we kept for eating.

When you started to trek you can see lot of sceneries, Everything looks so natural & colorful. The view what we get is breath-taking everyone would love it!

Trek for 30 minutes and finally we will see an nature made swimming pool, the water was so chill as we went pretty late eventhough we all went in there to have fun in there. We all took risk and dived in there its preety deep in mid of the pool, in fronside its normal.

We all enjoyed alot in there, we had lot of funs over there. And we planned to go there next time also. Its way better than Tada(Vardhapalyam) falls.

Do's

• Have an Backpack with you.
• Have your breakfast in Periyapalyam or Uthukotai.

Plan ahead in which way you're gonna go.(There are 3 ways to reach Kona Falls                                        1.Porur  
                       2.Avadi 
                      3.Puzhal)

• Explore the things what you haven't done before.

Dont's

• Don't go in an different way, as part of us went in an different way for them it made extra 30kms to reach Uthukotai.
• Monkeys Be Careful with them don't have anything in front of them.
• Don't take your phone near to the falls, my phone went into the water gladly an local guy helped me to get the phone out of water.
